Privacy Policy-Your persona data

Our privacy policy (last updated 9/04/18) explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal information. If we update this policy, we’ll post any changes on our website. We take your privacy seriously and want you to understand our practices with respect to the handling of your personal data. This privacy statement explains how we do this.

 

What we need

interworks.cloud will be what is known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you are about to provide to us. We only collect basic personal data about you, which do not include any sensitive information. If you decide to contact us through our website forms, then you will be asked to submit the basic personal data which is necessary for us to provide that service or handle your query. This is completely voluntary. The information we collect about you depends on the form you fill in. It includes the following: your name, company, email address, phone number.

 

Why we need it

We need to know your basic personal data in order to provide you with newsletters about products and services offerings as well as other relevant material. We do not collect any sensitive personal data we do not need, other than what is absolutely necessary for serving your request.

We also collect personal data from cookies, which we explain more about below.

What we do with it

 

All the personal data collected is processed by interworks.cloud’s personnel in Greece. However for the purposes of automation,IT hosting and maintenance this information is located on servers either in the European Union or the United States,for which all relevant GDPR requirements are met (e.g. certifications to the Privacy Shield framework). No third parties have access to your personal data, unless the law allows them to. We have a Data Protection Program in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data.

 

How long we keep it

We will keep your personal data for 2 years in order to provide you with product and services updates, unless you enter into a commercial relationship with interworks.cloud, in which case any transactions are subject to subsequent contractual agreements. On completion of this 2 years’ period (and assuming that there is no change in your commercial relationship with interworks.cloud), we will seek your consent again for continuing to deliver information about our products and services to you.

What we would also like to do with it

 

We would, however, like to use your name and email address to inform you of our future offers and products. This information is not shared with third parties and you can unsubscribe at any time via phone, email or our website. You can indicate when filling a form if you would like or not to sign up to.

What are your rights?

 

If at any point you believe the information we possess on you is incorrect, you can request to see this information and even have it corrected or deleted. You have the right to access your personal data and ask for it to be rectified or deleted at any later time. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact our Data Protection Officer who will investigate the matter, at [email protected].

interworks.cloud uses cookies (small text files placed on your device) and similar technologies to provide our websites and online services and to help collect data.
