We had the chance to participate with two cloud experts in insightful presentations and panel discussions, as well as receiving an honorable award for our Distribution business unit.

The Acronis #CyberFit Summit is the ultimate event for Acronis partners looking to modernize their cyber protection technologies, processes, and strategies, and this year was an in-person event and a chance to connect with the best! With enlightening sessions and insightful workshops featuring thought leaders from across the IT industry, this event was tailor-made for managed IT service providers, distributors, resellers, CISOs, and enterprise architects, all the way up to CIOs.

During the event, our two cloud experts of interworks.cloud showcased their expertise. In particular, Stavros Samiotis, Partner Account Manager at interworks.cloud and Acronis Certified Trainer participated in a panel discussion on “Kidnapping the Cloud: the real and emerging threats of ransomware in hosting and cloud environments”, alongside Jeff Hardy of Acronis, Melanie Purkis of Liquid Web, Luis Casagrande of RackOne and Michael Frisby of Vuzion. Stavros highlighted that we need to “prepare in order to avoid any damage or data loss. But because anything can go wrong (flood, fire, ransomware), be prepared what to do after the hit“. 

Our presence continued with Miltos Antoniadis, VP of Sales of interworks.cloud platform, who participated in a breakout session with a speech about “The Evolution of Cloud Brokerage – Challenges & Opportunities for IT Sellers”. Miltos highlighted that “investing in cloud automation can free up time and talent from non-value-adding tasks like orders processing and solving subscription billing puzzles. Said talent can then be put to much better use in product and portfolio management, customer guidance & success“.

Lastly, we congratulate our interworks.cloud Distribution business unit to receive the award of “Acronis #CyberFit Service Provider of the Year in Southern Europe”. This award recognized them as one of the best-performing service providers using Acronis Cyber protection solutions to protect both their own infrastructure and customers’ data.
